Exciting weekend here at Thomas Creek…..an 832 mile road trip on Saturday to pick up this little beauty! Let me introduce Miss Carolina Kya from Turkey, North Carolina!

We got the sweetest picture yesterday of Eli and his new brother Koda (Darla’s 1st litter). I’m not gonna lie…I did tear up but it made my heart happy to see him so happy!

My sweet Eli went home with his new furever family this afternoon…..who just happens to already be a member of the Thomas Creek Lab family. We are so blessed that this sweet family opened their hearts and home to our boy. This mama is so heartbroken but knowing he is loved and gonna be well taken care of makes it a little easier.

Thank you to all who shared our post and gave precious encouraging comments. You will never know how much that meant to us.

The following decision was made with a very heavy heart and would appreciate no negative comments.

Due to no fault of his own, we are having to find a loving furever family for our Eli. He is 2 1/2 years old, neutered, chipped and up to date on all shots. He is good with kids and currently stays outside with all of our other dogs. He was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia last year with OFA and with Vet supervision should have no issue having a happy life.

He needs a family that can give more one on one attention and love him like we do. He is good with other dogs but might be best suited being the only male with girls.

All of Darla’s little nuggets have gone to their furever homes! We are so blessed and thankful for our sweet families that are gonna love them like we do!

My sweet little nuggets start going home with their furever families today! How did we get here so fast!

They had a busy day yesterday getting baths and seeing Dr Mike! All of them checked out great and I know that they will love their new families! It’s so hard to get pictures of all of them together…they just wanted to stay cool on this hot day!

We will miss them so much when they leave but we know that they have the best families who will love them like we do!

They are 8 weeks old!! Where has the time gone….Darla’s little nuggets are in their last week here and my heart is feeling it! One of these little (big) nuggets weighed 19.5 lbs…can you guess which one?

Darla’s little nuggets are 7 weeks old and the biggest one weighed 14.8 lbs! I can’t believe in two weeks they will be going home with their furever families!
