Donna Poudrier CPDT-KA is a Certified Dog Trainer and Behavioral Specialist.

She has also completed two one year internships with Animal Behaviorist Debbie Winkler at Humane Domain. Think Like a Dog offers obedience classes from Puppy Kindergarten to Advanced Training. I address behavioral issues and will work with your dog one-on-one in the comfort of your home. I start with a free assessment of your dog, then we can outline an individualized training program.

These 3 shelter pups had a great time at training this morning! They learned about polite greeting, walking on leash and learned how to sit, stay and focus. Go meet them at the shelter. They’d love to show off their new skills!!!

AROO's mission is to raise money and do projects that improve the lives and adoptability of animals at the St. Mary's County Animal Services shelter. We recently mentioned the purchasing and planting we will be doing this Fall around the fenceline of the play yards to put the finishing touches on that "make the yards fun and interesting for the dogs" project.
Our other near term project is being led by Eagle Scout Logan to meet his service requirement - building two outdoor shelters for farm animals living at the Shelter - most of these animals prefer to be outdoors rather than in the barn and these enable that.. Please take a look at the flyer and if so inclined use the QR code to make a donation to help cover the costs of materials.
