🎯 Attention Out-of-State Deer Hunters: Know What You Need to Hunt in Kentucky

If you’re a non-resident (out-of-state) planning to hunt deer in Kentucky (ages 12 & up), here are the requirements:

-A valid Non-Resident Annual Hunting License

-A Non-Resident Statewide Deer Permit (allows you to take up to 4 deer, following statewide & zone regulations)

-A valid Hunter Education Card from any state

-Hunter orange required: Wear solid, unbroken hunter orange visible from all sides during modern gun, muzzleloader, and youth firearm deer seasons

Pickwick Landing State Park in Counce Tennessee was host to Tennessee Taxidermy Association's annual Convention July 11-13, 2024. Thanks to all the suppliers, Judges and seminar Instructors.

This weekend Kentucky Taxidermist association held their Convention June 13-16 at Cave City Convention Center in Cave City Kentucky Was fabulous a 3-day event. Several taxidermists attended from the area including Joe Haynes and his wife which brought some waterfowl. He received Horizon award and a couple ribbon. Great Job Joe they looked wonderful. We all hung out had a great time. I competed with Alaska wolf which I received several awards First Place Blue Ribbon Master Division, State Champion Master Division Large Mammal, Woody excellent taxidermy award, McKenzie Taxidermy award and Artisan award.
