Stockdog/Handler training (Limited By Appt. Tony is a successful stockman, ASCA trial judge, and successful competitor. Donna has trained and trialed successfully Australian Shepherds to their Championships in ASCA. She is an avid stockwoman, has been raised around

cattle all her life and understands livestock and herd management. This page was developed to keep people in the loop as to when Tony or Donna will be available for stockdogs training. Lessons can be designed for each handler/dog's level of training. Training for competition or for just real world livestock management available. Commercial Angus cattle, Dorper/katahdin sheep and ducks are used for training. Private lessons (Call for pricing), Instinct testing ($35 - 10 min session) and group clinic sessions available. Saturday morning slots available as well. Multiple size pens, round pen, arena and small roping pen available for training. Also larger pasture area for more advanced dogs.

If you are interested in scheduling a time to come up/down to work cattle or sheep before the trial (and in preparation for Nationals this October) please contact me. I am open to scheduling Thursdays as well as a few Saturdays mornings if requested. (Tuesdays reserved for students)

If I can get a “group” of 3 or more I will discount my stock (rental only) per run to $10 per runs on sheep/$20 per run on cattle per dog minimum of 3 runs each maximum of 5 runs.

I’m happy to report some great news here at Coosawattee Aussies this month and some news that’s overdue. It’s been an eventful month with quite a few accomplishments and a very difficult loss.

First of all, we were heartbroken with the lost of Venom, WTCH COOSAWATTEE GEORGIA’S POISON, AFTDscd, RTDsc DNA-VP (Georgia x Clark)Andrea Killebrew. Our heart goes out to Andrea and her family during this sad time. Venom was a very important part of their family. She was infectious with her beloved “Venomness”. We loved her too. Venom is only one point away from her ASCA HOF from two crosses to Patton, SDCH WTCH-X FTCH COOSAWATTEE HELP ON THE WAY, PATDcs RTDcs DNA-VP William D.middleton II (Dodge x Emmy) BTW Patton is only 4 points away from his ASCA HOF.

HOF WTCH FTCH OLD MILL’S DIAMOND DEETS AT COOSAWATTEE AFTDcdsm AFTD-Xsmd RTDs RD DNA-VP -Deets (Dodge x Emmy) owned by Les White is now a ASCA HOF Sire earning through the Progeny that have campaigned in various ASCA stock and performance programs. We are so proud for Les and this accomplishment.

HOF COOSAWATTEE JACKSON'S MOUNTAIN MITA, DNA-VP (Dodge x Emmy) Mita received her HOF status several months ago with just one cross to Art Landry’s Iggy (WTCH-X BROOKWOOD'S SHENANIGANS CD PATDc RTDcs AFTDcdsm ATD-Xcd GS-E-OP JS-E RS-E RNX RAX DNA-VP). Mita is owned by Tom Saunders. I was just made aware of this a few weeks ago. Mita is a littermate to Deets and a full sibling to Patton and Hurri. Thank you Art and Carol for making this cross. Art’s Fetch is very close to his SDCH and Deuce is an All Around Cowgirl competing in stock and agility.

HOF COOSAWATTEE CATTLE COMMANDER, OTDsc ATDd, DNA-VP (Georgia x Hondo) Boss just received his ASCA HOF status this weekend when Greta finished an ATDc title on Scruff and also earning WTCHs on both Scruff and Wonder. Two other littermates from this cross (Boss x Hurri) are currently competing competitively as well in the ASCA stockdog program. (Skiff/Riplei)
