A couple of months ago I got a very distressed phone call from a woman who had an emergency visit to the hospital and had left home quite a few dogs. Pomeranians and Frenchies. Between myself and Saving Paws Calhoun County Rescue we got all of the dogs out of the house. I took on seven and the other girls took on nine I think.
The woman ended up being able to get out of the hospital and was able to take a couple of her dogs home but asked that we place several also. ( the woman is now back in the hospital)
These two have a rescue commitment but need health certificates and rabies before they go. I am looking for donations to help them get on a bus to be in a family of one of one or two dogs instead of one of 16 or 17.
No donation too small THANK YOU for any consideration and or prayers for the helpless

Meet Honey!! She has been running loose in Calhoun City and now safe here!
Lots of fleas and ticks and just really tired. She has had her first vaccination, dewormed day 1 of 3, given Nexgard for fleas and ticks and right this minute soaking in tick shampoo.
When she settles in a week or two or 3….I will start some obedience training.
For today it is a deep breath for this baby girl!
