Thanks to my friend and hay guy, Rob, for another hay delivery! This time it was 2 bundles of small bales! Just simple prairie grass. This will be for the goats and cows if it's too wet outside to graze. It's still not nearly enough for winter. But just this was $650!

Just curious, what's a small square bale of hay cost where you're living at?

My daughter took me for my back/hip injections this afternoon. My 5 yr old grandson was my little side kick there chatting away at telling me how I'll feel better soon.
It was adorable!
Only had to get 12 injections this time! Lol!
4 in the left hip;
3 in the right hip;
4 in the upper back on left side;
1 in the upper right side.
Man, am I sore tonight.
And tomorrow is trash day...
This is going to be fun.
The no lifting and doing chores for 48hrs after injections...Just doesn't apply to me this round! I should of planned injections AFTER trash day! I need my brain to think ahead like that!

Well at the least the 42 bales of hay got stacked in the barn yesterday evening! Lol!

Is there anyone who has a handyman that knows how to build new barn doors?
That bad storm a few years back broke the other side door to this barn lean-to entrance. With this winter expecting to be pretty bad, I want to get new doors up to protect the animals using this area.

Any recommendations?
Anyone do free estimates?
