NEW STYLE TURKEY FEATHER ART UNLOCKED! This new style wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be but turned out pretty cool! I wanted to figure out a way to offer an awesome display at a lower cost for people to still display their birds in a cool way but might not want to spend the full price! My goal was simple, still feather art, lower pricing but still way cooler than just drying your fan! This piece is a stunning Merriam’s from our good friend with a stained back drop and a dark walnut frame! These pieces will have the option of stained backgrounds, painted scenery backgrounds, wings or no wings, and be offered at a lower cost along with us only needing the fan! What do you guys think?

This Eastern turned out awesome for showing up breasted out and a bloody mess! We had to wash the bird and restore the fan along with reworking most of the feathers to make another beautiful piece! I finished this bird off with a dark walnut stained frame! This size is our standard diamond and will look awesome in any trophy room, man cave or even your living room! On to the next one!

The stunning Rios turned out amazing! This birds colors are amazing from wings, to the fan, to the body, they’re hard to beat. I finished this bird for a client that didn’t send a bird but commissioned the piece from spare birds I have. I completed it in a dark brown stained frame to match the slam set they previously purchased! This one’s up there for my favorite diamond pieces! On to the next one!

Another duck species complete! The Old Squaw! This one was pretty difficult with the only prominent colors being black and white but it turned out pretty awesome! I finished it with a walnut stained wood to bring the browns out in the primaries and it’s ready to head back to Washington for !

The second Osceola for this client is complete! Mike and his wife were both fortunate to kill an Osceola this year but not as fortunate when shipping birds, there was a 3 day shipping delay which resulted in the birds showing up in horrible condition! With some help I was able to make do with what I had and complete both mounts! This frame was finished in the black stain as well to match Mike’s wife’s mount and I can’t wait to see them hanging side by side in their home in Idaho!

Osceola complete! This bird was a tough one seeing as its shipping was screwed up and it showed up 5 days late! I was able to salvage enough to create this piece but is a good reminder to over night ship. I finished it in a black stained frame to bring out the blacks in its wings and it’s ready to head back to Idaho!
