If you want to keep your pup looking fresh, fabulous, and feeling cool all season long, I highly recommend pre-booking your appointments now—especially if your dog is on a 4–8 week grooming schedule.

I’m still accepting new clients, but please note that you’ll need to book about 6 weeks in advance to get on my schedule. 🛁🐾💛

🦨 It's Skunk season! 🦨
Be prepared and keep a skunk kit handy in case your dog is sprayed. Skunks are most active at dusk and dawn so the clinic and local stores may not be open when you need these items the most!
🦨 If your dog is sprayed DO NOT let them in your house or garage.
🦨 Do NOT wet your dog first. The skunk spray is an oily substance and applying water will just spread the skunk spray throughout your dogs coat.
🦨 After a spray give us a call at 507-725-3380 to book a skunk treatment to help reduce the odor.

🍅 other home remedies include bathing in tomato juice or putting ketchup on the dog. The acidic nature and vinegar can help with the odor but the most effective way to help reduce odor is to use soap and hydrogen peroxide to lift the oily spray off your dogs coat. Following up with Skunk specific shampoo and treatment will help to reduce the remaining odor.
