Quilts Designed and Created for You QuiltMamma is a company started by one individual, Darci Chambers. So, I set out to learn.

I always valued quilts and the traditions they held, but no one in my family quilted. My learning grew from a couple of quilts for her family to a co-worker asking for a t-shirt quilt to preserve fire department memories. If ever there was an organic start to a business, QuiltMamma is it. Initially founded in 2013, I paused my business from 2018-2022 to aid my husband in his business. Opening back

up in 2023, Darci loves creating memories for her clients. I grew up loving kids and wanting to be a teacher. After achieving that goal and teaching for nine years, I was able to quit teaching in order to focus on my kids and my quilt-making. I now lives on our 16-acre farm with my husband and three children; as well as their 4 horses, 5 chickens, 2 goats, 3 bunnies and 3 dogs. Don’t worry, my studio is in the city, so your special items are protected from farm life. I'm looking forward to meeting you and creating your own special quilt.

For 11 1/2 years, this sweet girl has been my faithful friend and creative partner. Although she struggled to find a cozy spot with me after our move 3 years ago, I've discovered that bringing a few familiar blankets makes all the difference. Having her by my side is a constant source of inspiration.

It’s the season of busyness and togetherness. I’ve not posted much because I’ve been busy spending time with my family. I was thankful to complete the puzzle pictures in a day! I was afraid it would be hard, but my quilty brain kicked in and took over. I hope you are getting quality time with people that matter most!
