August of 2024 tragedy hit.

Anyone that knows me and my dogs knows I will go to the end of the earth for them.

Olivia is a very special girl. She is queen of the house at a whopping 6lbs at best. Everyone knew “don’t mess with Livie”; she will kick some serious butt. She was the fastest and flew the highest. You have to know this dog to know her heart and soul for living.

Olivia has been a medical nightmare since 8 weeks (she is now 3). Yet she never stops fighting and I promised her as long as she fights I will do my part to fight along side her. When tragedy hit and she had no feeling in her extremities and the outcome was she will never walk again — I was not sure how much fight was in her to deal with such a diagnosis.

Lucky us, we were referred to OnPoint Wellness. There we consulted about laser, rehab, and acupuncture. No promises made except everyone would work together to give Olivia every possible chance.

The love, dedication, and persistence of the entire staff has lead to amazing results (miracles in my mind). Olivia went from no feeling to feeling. She went from dragging her back end to crawling. She went from crawling to fighting like hell to stand. Standing to taking steps.

Now, my beloved Olivia continues to push and fight and has successfully stood on her own to taking steps, 3 to date. She still has a road to travel but she has proven she will walk again no matter the odds.

So many blessings this girl has brought. More specifically, no matter how bad it seems it’s all about determination to create your own ending.

Olivia is my soul girl and I am so incredibly blessed to have her in my life. I owe a never ending debt to OnPoint Veterinary Hospital and OnPoint Wellness for never giving up on Olivia or me and being 110% committed to her recovery and her overall wellness. I could not have done any of this without you.

I will upload a video once she is walking consistently on her own .. stay tuned, it wont be long now.
