On Thursday Shyann found out that a biopsy she had done on Lily was cancerous. There is a big chance it has already metastasized. Shyann, I and Dad talked. We told Shyann that whatever she decides or needs to do for Lilly we will support her. She does not believe it is in Lillie’s best interest to surgically remove the large masses that quickly came on (not in the area that she has had previously on her mammary glands; these ones biopsies are in her armpits) as putting her under anesthesia could possibly put her into complete heart failure and death. She has been giving her arthritis medication as well as heart medication as she has been in heart failure since moving to San Diego and has confirmed in the last 6 months that it has worsened. Lilly becomes easily fatigued and short of breath with activity but she is still at times playful, is able to walk up and down her stairs to her bedroom, in and out of her house to p*e, is quite feisty when she wants to be and still loves a good belly and chest rub and as the pic shows a good mani pedi. She is also very vocal and obeys commands when she’s not being stubborn. She is not really able to counter sure any more but she still loves to sneak treats and foods that are forbidden if left out (unfortunately had to have her stomach pumped last night basically due to eating chocolate covered almonds). Such a naughty girl! At least it’s better than when she ate rocks while pregnant with Frank and the other pumps that was found on her pregnancy ultrasound 🤦♀️. Please pray for her and Shyann, Kyle as well
As Frank over the next few months as we are not sure when her expiration date will be but Shyann hopes she will have at least another 6-9 months. She will make every effort to make sure she is not in pain but rather comfortable and well cared for. She is a DNR (do not resuscitate) now and if needed will be on palliative care. Lilly will be 13 in April. ❤️ My heart aches. Hugs and loves.
