Babies sure grow fast.
Today was picture day, which is never easy with them at this age. Our crew is approaching 6 weeks and they change daily. Today we did our weekly nail trims and met a few new adult dogs. Evening snuggles, belly rubs and playtime are fun for us all. I added a crate without a door to their pen and made the designated potty area a bit smaller. The weather should be warmer starting Monday so we will be venturing outdoors during cleaning time.
They are all happily chowing down on moms kibble with true Griffon gusto.
Vaccinations will be next week. Ready to go mid January.

I seem to be having trouble with messenger delaying inquiries.

Hello local peeps. Please be sure to check/update your dogs parvo vax. I have heard there is a parvo outbreak here in eastern Iowa. Even adult dogs can pick up parvo if they are exposed. They can carry it with them even when not affected. Use caution in taking your dogs out in public and interacting with unknown animals. Keep puppies off the ground in public areas. Parvo can live on the ground for a very long time (6 months?)
Parvo is usually more common in southern states, but it can travel by infected dogs in transport.

So I thought this was just another ordinary day. But then Dad forgot to feed me, put me in the car and took me to the vet and LEFT ME! I took a nap and woke up like this.
Mom and Dad say it's for my own good.
All I know is I feel loopy, and sleepy. Mom said I can't jump on the couch to watch squirrels outside for two weeks and I have to wear this darn cone on my head. Please send me treats since eating is my coping strategy.
