Luna is officially a therapy dog!
She spent the whole day at work with me. We visited almost every resident in the health center today. Let me tell you, they all loved it. Luna was so calm and willing to be approached and be loved on x 50+ residents + Staff! Thanks to granddaughter Addy for helping out and keeping Luna occupied while I was busy between visits. Went better than I expected.

Just wanted to share this message from today. This little kitty went to a great home, and it's so nice they took the time to send an update and praise.

Aloha Friday!!! We had a discussion this week about support and how to support others in times of need. I think the biggest lesson in life that my Mom ever taught me was no matter what… keep a good attitude and always find a reason to laugh. When you laugh… or make someone else who is having a hard time finding a reason to…. The problems, the pain, the worry, they all go away. Make someone laugh today…. It’s very infectious. So why the picture of Kramer? I took Kramer into Murdoch’s, it’s a farm and ranch store. We shopped, picked out dog toys and horse treats. I’m walking out of the store with my dog and this older gentleman with sunglasses is walking in. He says “Well hello gorgeous, how are you doing today?” Feeling all sassy I say “Well I’m fine Sir thank you for asking, how are YOU doing today” He stops and takes his sunglasses off. After he stopped laughing he says “Ma’am, I was talking to your dog” Then we both had a belly laugh! Be good to yourself and all those around you!

So I have to share our fun meeting at the airport this morning. Puppy Copper is flying to GA to meet his new family (who is also a repeat adoptive family)
Cooper of course is being adorable and attracted the attention of a family near us. Finally the dad (Steve) can no longer resist and comes to meet us. We chatted for several minutes about his wonderful 7 yr old BC who looks quite a lot like Cooper. Then he asked if I was local (we are at an airport so neither of us assumed we were from around here).
When I told him what town I was from it clicked. They got their wonderful handsome dog from me!! And, he is a half brother. No wonder they look so similar. (7 years is a long time and we didn't recognize each other at first)
It's a small small world!!
Also the red tri brother in this litter went to my son's 'boss' who's dad grew up in my neighborhood AND a tri sister went to the Crowder family who has now adopted 6 pups in the last 25 years!!
I just love the connections I have made through my dogs

Whose looking for a new buddy this summer? Beach, hike, boat? What adventures do you have planned?
Our last girl from our LAST Baloo litter. She's ready this weekend .
Medium drive, medium coat (should be bunny soft). Expected size 30-40 lbs. She (and her siblings) are doing great on using the potty box. That means they are looking for the appropriate place to do their business and makes housebreaking a breeze (with consistency of course)
She loves our grandkids and is a little smarty!

This makes me so sad. There is never ever an excuse to breed double Merle (when both parents are merles and the puppies get two copies of the Merle gene.) It is a very simple combination to avoid. But uneducated and uncaring breeders keep doing it anyway. Please make sure you are seeking an ethical and educated breeder when searching for your next puppy.

8 weeks, first vax, potty box trained. Alert, happy, social, and sweet. Loves kids!! And they love her. Dark Merle coloring with rich copper highlights ❤️

Update: well that was quick. Our darling girl just went home with her new bestie, one happy little lady. I know she will be much loved and watched over by grandma, and lots of chances to play with her big brother Rowdy! They will have a wonderful summer together with only 1 more week of school. Thank you grandma Julie for coming to see me today. Happy tails!!
