Hi everyone!

We’re excited to let you know that we’ll be hosting a barn potluck on Saturday, September 6th starting at 4:30 PM 🎉

We’ll have the grill going with hot dogs, hamburgers, and light refreshments. Please feel free to bring along your favorite dish to share—especially if you have any dietary restrictions or favorites you’d love to enjoy. 🍲🥗🍪

You’re welcome to bring along adult beverages if you’d like as well. 🍷🍻

It’ll be a great time to relax, eat, and enjoy our barn family—we hope to see you all there!

Oh Vivi, I will miss you so much. You were so obnoxious and nosy. Blowing bubbles in the water and sticking your entire face in the bucket was your favorite past time. So was sticking your feet in it 😑 I’ll miss watching you run and buck around every time we brought in a new round bale, getting everyone riled up (Tori HATED your antics). You loved going out with your girls and harassing them all. And all MY girls loved washing you and riding you. You were a force to be reckoned with, you were a war horse after all. You fought insanely hard to the end. I’m sorry and I’ll think of you often, I think we all will.

Beau and Sophia putting in the work today! Riding well means knowing how to adjust your horse and get your horse to listen to you. This exercise is great for that and Sophia and Beau nailed it today 🥰

Just wanted to hop on here and give a little update on Beau in case people have missed stories! He is doing INCREDIBLY well. After his initial diagnosis of EPM I was definitely very worried about him, would he be ok? Would he ever be under saddle again? Would he just lose all his weight and need to be put down for quality of life reasons? But here we are now. Beau is sound (save for the abscess he just blew thx to all this rain 🌧️), at a fantastic weight, and is finally getting topline again 🙌🏻 I keep suuuuch a close eye on all the horses here that sometimes I forget to take a step back and LOOK at them lol. Beau is a lesson favorite with his goofy personality and 10 canter; he couldn’t be more loved here. I’m so pleased with where he is at and would like to keep him this way, watching him like a hawk has just become the norm now.

A rainy day has us thinking about… SUMMER CAMP! We have 7 weeks of summer camp lined up here at GHF and we can’t wait to have a blast with everyone. Riding lessons, learning about barn management and horse care, taking care of our noble steeds and cleaning their tack to keep them comfortable, our obstacle courses were a hit over winter and spring break camps, more arts and crafts! Get signed up early to insure your child has a spot, DM/text/email Hillary for more info!

Don’t forget to pre register to guarantee a spot (for drop ins as well! Need a heads up). Both camps are 75% filled, room for 1-2 kids left in each. With the spring weather this is gearing up to be a great 2 weeks!

Grey Horse Farms will be closed from 🌟March 24-29🌟 to give our amazing school horses a well-deserved break! They work hard year-round, and this time off allows them to rest, recharge, and enjoy some extra TLC.

Happy 20th birthday to the most beautiful, amazing, kind, and talented horse I’ve ever owned. Cannot believe I rubbed you down right after you were born and here we are. From Utah to Arizona to California to NY to Florida and back to NY, I’ve always had you by my side. I don’t know what I did in a past life to be so lucky to have this horse. You taught me every thing I know and I owe you every thing.

Happy birthday, Tori, my Viktoria’s Secret. I love you. Here’s to hopefully many more birthdays 🥂

We had SO much fun at the Winter Break Camp! Lots of Uno, riding, sledding, and crafts! They all even learned how to clean, care, and put away tack.
