Come meet Zeus at Petsmart in Hopkinsville this Friday and Saturday!! Friday is his 5th birthday!! 🎉 Finding his forever family would be the best birthday present ever for this sweet boy ❤️🐾

Looking for your best four-legged friend? Zeus could be your guy!

Zeus is such an incredible dog that would thrive with a family looking for an adventure dog and couch cuddler.

Zeus’ pros:

🐾 Healthy, neutered, up to date on all vaccines and preventatives
🐾 Friendly and loving with adults, kiddos, dogs of all sizes, and cats
🐾 Already has a basic obedience foundation, and is a very fast, motivated learner. He would be so fun for someone that wants to play around with learning dog sports! Zeus is very motivated by food, toys, and affection!
🐾 Crate and house trained. No accidents from this guy.
🐾 His adoption comes with all the help you need from a pro trainer + boarding when you’re out of town 🙋🏻‍♀️
🐾 He’s always up for whatever you want to do, whether that’s hiking, joining you on errands, going for a car ride, or lounging on the couch

Zeus is officially a Haven 12:10 Animal Sanctuary dog and on the search for his forever family!! This guarantees that he is safe and never has to spend another day in a shelter 😭🙌🏻 He will continue to be loved and cared at Piper’s Place until his forever family finds him ❤️ I cannot thank Haven 12:10 enough for seeing this boy’s potential and how incredible he is.

If you want to meet Zeus, we’ll be at the Hopkinsville Petsmart this Saturday from 11am-3pm! Let’s help this sweet boy find the forever family that he’s deserved for a long long time ❤️🐾

Logan County friends, if you or someone you know needs help getting food for your dog(s), the Logan County Animal Care and Control now has a community dog food pantry! This is such a great local resource!

The pantry will operate MONDAY through SATURDAY from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM located at 1230 MORGANTOWN ROAD. Open to LOGAN COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY. Residents are required to present a valid ID or a piece of mail to confirm Logan County residency.
The pantry is for people who are in NEED not WANT. Please note that there will be limits on the quantity and frequency of dog food distribution per household. Any misuse of the pantry will result in loss of access to this service. We sincerely appreciate the partnership with Champion Petfoods in making this initiative possible.

In case you need to hear some amazing news today… CJ Hale with Haven 12:10 Animal Sanctuary reached out to me about a volunteer organization that makes quilts to send to shelters and humane societies in need (ex: during winter storm Fern). Kennel Quilts, the amazing organization, has SO MANY quilts that will be delivered soon to Logan County Animal Care and Control 🥹🙌🏻 Take a minute to scroll through their posts and share some love with the volunteers making these beautiful quilts to give some shelter pups extra warmth! Thank you SO MUCH Kennel Quilts for your generosity ❤️

Huge thank you and shout out to G&K Tree Service LLC for bringing out their skid steer to clear our driveway so Kaine Dalton and I could salt it!!! With Kaine heading back to work tomorrow, we had to get the driveway cleared for my car to get out. Him being home with his truck this week has been a Godsend so we could still get around and get these pups out of the house. Field trips in the Durango will resume tomorrow! 🙌🏻❤️

We’re loving playing in the snow, but also taking breaks inside to warm up these pups!

The snow is coming🌨, and we are looking for "Storm Fosters" to give our pups a warm, quiet place to wait out the weather! We anticipate these stays lasting just until the roads are clear and safe for travel again (Hopefully by Tuesday). 🚗💨

How your help makes a difference💪:
Not only does this gives the pup a warm and stress-free experience💤, but it also helps us get to know the pups a little bit more than what we could typically know here at the shelter! 💭
We will still have our amazing staff taking care of the pups that are remaining at the shelter, but your help getting our pups into a comfortable environment is GREATLY appreciated! 🐾🥰
