Mandie's Morkie Designer Pups are raised with love in our home. They are hugged, loved and played with every day. Just as part of the family.

Located in Northern Michigan. Morkies are a designer cross between Yorkshire Terrier (Yorkies) and Maltese dogs. Our sire is a Morkie himself who favors his Maltese side and our dam is an AKC Yorkshire Terrier. These two will make the most precious beautiful Morkies. Breed Characteristics: Partially due to the terrier in its background the Morkie can be spirited and energetic. Your typical Morkie

is sweet in nature and with a lively personality. The Morkie is a designer breed that tends to be very devoted to its family and enjoys spending time with them. The Morkie is an intelligent and curious dog that thrives on human companionship. The Morkie is also categorized as hypoallergenic and non-shedding as they have hair and not fur. What is a Designer Dog? A designer dog is a hybrid or a crossbreed between two different purebreds where the percentage of the foundation breeds is known. In designer dogs, the breeding is carefully chosen. Some may think that hybrid dogs is a new trend, but actually it is centuries old and is based on selective breeding. Historically all breeds of purebred dogs have gone through their own period of being a so called "Designer Breed" at some point in their historical development or breed creation.In fact all of today's recognized purebred dogs are by products of a breeder's or a group of breeder's creative endeavors to enhance or further develop specific traits within the canine species. Today's purebred dogs owe their existence to dedicated breeders of the past who had the vision to develop new breeds or the desire to improve upon the existing breeds of their era.

We treated our pups and Mama Stormie to a spa day! Now Skye thinks it's okay to lay in the clean laundry basket 🤷‍♀️

Happy almost Thanksgiving Puppy Families! Just a reminder, we still absolutely love seeing and sharing pics of our beatiful Morkies. This here is Miss Piper who lives in North Carolina. She's 2-½ and this link below shows her as a pup in the first 5ish pictures and is one example of how much hair length, age, and genetics can change their color. Ms. Stormie, retored, who is very gold when short, now lives with my oldest daughter, and has more blue to her hair since it's longer. Skye is a blend of Mason and Stormie. She has Yorkie markings but pulls more of that blueing and softness from Stormie. Mason, my handsome retired man, has always remained a darker traditional Yorkie black and tan. I can't believe he's 8 years old! Feel free to share then and now pics of your pups in the comments.

We started the week with an FFF Trim as my aunt likes to call the Face Feet F***y Trim. Stormie and Mason got one, too, to tie them over until we get to the groomers. Then, they had their 9-week vaccinations at Meyer Veterinary Clinic. Thanks, Dr. Seguin for being such a wonderful attentive veterinarian for our babies! They also got lots of play time and cuddles as always!

Our last litter of babies are almost all gone to their forever homes 🥹🥰
Congratulations to all our new and returning puppy parents! We appreciate all of you!

They eat, potty, wrestle, sleep, and repeat! The pups are so fun at this age. All their little personalities are shining through. They are all eating dry kibble and sleeping all night. These last 7 weeks have flown by!

I could not resist this picture opportunity! They had just ate, played, pottied and were getting ready to nap.

All pups are doing great, and eating well. We will start to reduce the water in their mush to get them to dry kibble now. It is exciting to know that 3 pups are going to previous adopters. It just fills my heart to know that you all have so much faith in us! We are happy new families found us, too! We will always keep our page up to celebrate, show love and share stories of our Babies. Next, is a visit to Meyer Veterinary Clinic for their health exam and vaccinations! This last litter seems to have flown by when I blinked. I'm going to miss raising them. This is our last litter of Morkies as Mom and Dad are retiring!

❤🥰🐾 Their eyes are open! 🐾🥰❤

Babies are doing great and they are starting to walk now too. Believe it or not this is where the critical stage of potty training begins 3-4 weeks. We change out there bedding a couple times a day as they start to venture to the potty pad. We leave that longer so they start to learn where to go. Clean beds make potty training easy! Pics taken Sunday.

Message us if you're on our waiting list. This will be our last litter of Morkies as Mom and Dad are retiring! 2 are avaialble.
