COSTUME CONTEST: We want to see your small animals all dressed up for Halloween. Sorry, no dogs or cats... Guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, bearded dragons, hamsters, rats, and all other small animals are welcome to participate.

There will be prizes for the following categories: Most Original, Scariest, Funniest and Best Overall. There will also be a few Honorable Mentions.

Send your pictures to [email protected] and we will choose winners on Friday, October 31st at noon CST. Cutoff for photo submissions is October 30th at 6:00 pm CST.

Thanksgiving is a month away. It is not too early to get boarding reservations made for your small animals. No dogs or cats... $15 per day/per cage. Everything is provided. Message the page so we can get you on the schedule. Guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets and others are welcome...

Just a few notes:

1. We are having a Costume Sale during October for your small animals (mainly guinea pigs). It should be the first post you see on the Grandma's Animals Shop and Education page. There are some really cute ones, so please check it out!

2. We will be closed on Saturday, October 4th for a deep cleaning day, but will be open on Sunday, the 5th from noon-5.

3. Be on the lookout for our yearly calendar sale. It will be coming very soon!

As I'm recovering from a Stroke, i need PT/OT & Speech Therapy. Our website is down because they want $500 a year to keep it going. This is a time of healing for me.
