UPDATE ⚠️ Starting September 20!

At this time, I am only accepting well-behaved dogs who are comfortable walking on a leash and/or have access to a yard for potty breaks and playtime.

Dogs who pull occasionally or consistently, require significant leash training, or do not have access to a yard will need to wait until a later date. I will resume caring for these dogs once I am medically cleared to safely handle heavier lifting and more physically demanding walks.

I’m planning to begin taking on light-duty work starting the week of September 7th, but for now I’ll only be working within my neighborhood because I’m still unable to drive while I’m taking my medications. I’ve been cleared for light-duty work, which would include walking well-behaved dogs who are comfortable walking on a leash or doing supervised yard play. 😊

I’m also still unsure how comfortable I’ll be with driving while I’m relying on one functioning eye. I need to wait until I’m finished with my medications before I can safely test my driving ability. Thankfully, I should be finished with them by the end of the week of September 7th! 🎉 At that point, I’ll gradually test driving around my own neighborhood to see how comfortable and confident I feel while my other eye continues to recover.

If everything goes well, I would absolutely love to get back to our normal schedule. I truly miss all of my furry clients! 🐾 If that works for you let me know!

Update!!

I need a second surgery! This time a shorty 15 to 30 minute awake one.
The inside of my eyelid is scarring and attaching to my eye.

They have to cut it and put in a graft to keep my eye from scaring and attaching where it shouldn’t.
I also need a ring cover on my eye to keep it from attaching to my eyelid it's kind of like a contact lens but the center is hollow and the ring is around the edging and thicker then a contact lens. She said it's very uncomfortable to wear, and I have to wear it for a while until things heal🥺

I also have a photo the doctor took of my eye it’s pretty nasty to look at so I did not post it. But I posted the ring item she was explaining to me.

My 3d print example cool. you can see the floor of the eye socket. How big the hole was the plate is what they used. Now I have to do absolutely nothing for two weeks. Then I find more information out from the doctors to when I’m allowed to get back to work.

If you click on the GoFundMe, click read more scroll to the bottom. There’s a news article linked about what happened. I hope by the end of September I’ll be able to get back on my feet and back to work surgery is August 20. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers.

I’m currently unable to work while I focus on healing, and I’m waiting for the swelling to go down enough for me to have my surgery. On top of trying to recover physically and emotionally, I now have the added stress of figuring out how to keep up with my bills while I’m out of work.

Right now, I’m also having difficulty seeing and communicating normally. I currently rely on speech-to-text to type my messages for me, and I use my smartphone to read messages aloud because I’m unable to comfortably read them myself. This has made even simple, everyday tasks much more difficult than they normally would be.

This has been an incredibly difficult and unexpected time, and any support—no matter how small—would truly help me get through this and allow me to focus on healing and getting the medical care I need. Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out, supported me, donated, or simply kept me in your thoughts. ❤️ Every bit of kindness means more to me than I can put into words.

We had a loving relationship for five years, and it’s heartbreaking to accept how drastically things changed when his mental health began to decline. What happened was a horrific and deeply unfortunate event that I never could have imagined happening to us.

He is currently in custody, where he cannot hurt me or anyone else. As heartbreaking as it is, there is no going back to the life or relationship we had before this horrific event. I’m now focused on healing, moving forward, and trying to rebuild my life one day at a time. ❤️ Please Share.
