What a treat to randomly run into Rummy and her family while I stopped in Shakopee for a few hours to have breakfast with my son! Cassidy is not only one of our amazing puppy mommas; she is also on my list of all-time favorite former students! It was great running into them and was one of many incredible moments I enjoyed that day!!!

Puppy Dump!!! We are 3 weeks old tomorrow. We had a few firsts today: first pedicure, first venture into the larger puppy playpen, and to top it all off… the first time playing out in the back yard!!! We will sleep well tonight! We still have one male looking for his family.

Eat. Sleep. Repeat! It's been a couple exciting days in the puppy pen! We are now 3 days old and have crested the 2 1/2 pounds gained as a team plateau! We had our dew claw procedures done yesterday, and everyone is healing well today. Mom (Penny) is finally feeling a little more comfortable leaving us for a moment to go outside to use the restroom or to enjoy a roll in the grass. She's never gone long, though. We're looking forward to a fun and exciting adventure! Way to go, Penny!

24 hours old and all looks good! Lots of squeaks and noises coming from the whelping box today!!! Penny is such a good mom. The pups averaged just over 1 lb each and seem to be hungry all the time. Here I finally caught them in napping mode. Way to go, Penny!!!
