Someone wanted to partake in Holloween as well i see 😆. As soon as i pulled this gem out of the nesting box and saw the giant calcium deposit my head was programmed to say "Moley Moley Moley Moley" , if you know you know but if someone hatches they've clearly earned the name Austin Powers 🤣.

Hey there! We're a small family operated ranch local to Bushnell in central Flordia. In the beginning of the year we chose to spead the fun of our livestock with others and Cypress Swamp Homestead was the name that fell deeply in our hearts as our property is beside the state forestry which in our local area is a mass majority of Pine trees and Cypress knees and we wouldn't want it any differently 💚. We currently specialize in black Brangus cattle, large and small fowl perfect for rainbow egg baskets, Cayuga ducks, rare Coturnix quail, turkeys, and stay tuned for more 🤭. Since we've made a public page we've met so many amazing people and learned alot along the way. Our goal is to invite as many new folks to join our page as we can before the end of the year so 2027 will be an exiting new chapter for us and our homestead.

Y'all ready for Monday 🫩😮‍💨?
I know i'm not, but i also can't say that I get to enjoy staying in my own homestead palace all week. By Sunday it's time to say goodbye to everyone and prepare my brain for ten hour shifts and quick feed routines for the next work week. Are you, "A single mom who works two jobs, who loves her kids and never stops" 🎶😂 ? Or is your homestead/farm/ranch your main source of income? If you're one living ever country folks dream and you care to share with us, how did you make it happen?

11 DAYS TILL THE SPOOKIEST TIME OF THE YEAR Y'ALL!!!! 🕷🎃⚰️🪦👻🍭
Do you celebrate the spooky season? Whether you prep all year and indulge in fun decor or pretend the day doesn't exist, we're a open space. Bullies and negative opinions aren't welcome here. Here i'll go first, on our ranch we carry strong faith, but we absolutely love to still put some cute ( mostly chicken 😅 ) themed hollowen decor up to celebrate. We also love to sit at the end of our long driveway and pass out candy for anyone who would like to bring their kiddos by to spread the holiday fun! 🍭🍬🍫

We stopped in at a womans property I've known since i was a little girl yesterday after work and I had to show some of the fun things she had. This lady has no clue about any special breeds or feather typs like frizzle or molted. She's an old timer and I say that lightly, she doesn't care about a dirty egg, what color egg a hen lays or to many roosters. She doesn't breed for the birds physical traits or the egg color, she breeds them to put food in her family, and the community around hers homes.

We need help identifying this handsome boy. We don't work with alot of bantams we just have them in our free range flock so we have no dang clue. He came in a group of four from a assorted bantam bin at TS. His comb and wattles are so bright red he almost looks like another one of our "cartoon chickens" 😆.

When you try to steal a nibble of the humans food from the picnic table and they swat at you but you watch them toss a piece to the dog a few minutes later 😒...

This little man is the star of the show here with his personality 😆

HOLY WILDFLOWER 😍!!! (Gaillardia pulchella) - otherwise known as the Blanket flower, Indian blanket, or Firewheel. Native to Flordia, they are not a w**d, though many have the false impression they are. These love the dry sandy environments that consume most of our state, the mass majority of them are located in feilds as they prefer full sun. They're also great pollinators for our bug buddies 🐝🦋.
