Pembrokes have been used by the Welsh as herding dogs, family companions, and guardians of the farm. They continue today to be workers and companions for their owners. They are sensitive and intelligent dogs that make excellent companions for either rural or urban families.

Are you interested in this breed? The OFA, working with the Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club of America, recommends the following basic health screening tests for all breeding stock:
- Hip Dysplasia (OFA or PennHIP)
- ACVO Eye Exam

Dogs meeting these basic health screening requirements are issued Canine Health Information Center (CHIC) numbers. For potential puppy buyers, CHIC certification is a good indicator the breeder responsibly factors good health into their selection criteria.

Scarlett went to her new home today.
It’s bittersweet because I know her new momma is going to love her just as much as I did but Scarlett is their only dog and will get their undivided attention.
Thank you Scarlett for being such a great momma and blessing families with your pups.
Making the decision to rehome one of my mommas is never a easy decision but some people don’t want puppies and having the ability to get a retired momma I know means so much to their new families and to me knowing the love and attention they will be getting.

It is a quick plane ride from Florida to Puerto Rico to bring home one of these cuties and see a beautiful island as well! (If you dont want to fly, you can fly me out and i will pick up your pup and deliver it back to you!)

We have decided to place Scarlett.
We never make this decision lightly and we want to do whats best for Scarlett as she retires from being a momma and have a family to call her own and get all the love & attention.

Scarlett is 5 years old.
Scarlett is a higher energy Pembroke.
She loves to run but she also loves scratches and to cuddle, especially in her humans bed with them.
She is a fun and goofy girl as well !
She will require a fenced in yard (not negotiable and I will either need to see pics/video of your fence or see it in person).
Gets along with other dogs.
Needs to be in a home with older children as she can get excited and I dont want her to accidentally hurt a little one.
She is housebroken, walks on a leash but since she lives on a small farm she will need a little more work walking on a leash.
Scarlett is on the smaller side for a Pembroke.
She will be spayed next week and is up to date on all her vaccines.
Small rehoming fee applies.
Must reside in Florida (I will not place her out if state)
