Harney County Veterinary Clinic has proudly provided high quality, comprehensive veterinary care to the pets and livetsock of Harney County since the 1970's! Our primary goal here at HCVC is to provide your small, large and exotic animals with high-quality, low-stress, comfortable, and compassionate care in a relaxed environment. We strive to provide comprehensive, state of the art medical and sur

gical services with an emphasis on pain management and preventive care. If we are unable to provide the standard of care which your animal requires, we have access to a wide network of specialists for referral and consultation. We are able to provide services in our beautiful clinic located at 1050 Crane Blvd, just on the edge of Burns on Hwy 78 or we can come to you. Whatever setting your pet or livestock are the most comfortable in, that is the setting we want to care for them in. In addition to preventive care, medical and surgical services, we also offer boarding for your animals big and small. Our dog kennels are inside where it is warm, dry and clean. We have a Cat Condo for your kitties that is away from the barking dogs with lots of windows so kitty can enjoy looking outside. Owner and Veterinarian, Dr. Masie Custis, joined the HCVC team in 2006 after graduating from Kansas State University. The high desert of eastern Oregon was a natural fit for this southwestern New Mexico native as she wanted to fulfill her dream of owning her own veterinary clinic and raising a family in a rural setting with more cold weather than heat. She became the proud owner of HCVC in 2008. Dr. Masie and her team will work hard to provide your animals with top-quality, veterinary care. Here are some safety tips to reduce the risk of your pet accidentally starting a fire in your home, and general safety tips in case there is a fire. Always include your pets in your plans to respond to an emergency, such as a fire, earthquake or a situation that requires evacuation.
