On a sweeter note, Hank and grandma cuddled like this for about 30 minutes. For those of you who don't know Hanks history, he's a retired service dog. One of his jobs ? Holding his person on her side while she had seizures. This is one of the things I trained Hank to do, and he got pretty good at it. The position he would use to keep me on my side while I tried my best to fall onto my back or front? This b***y up in the air situation you see in the photo. He'd use his hind legs for leverage to keep someone as heavy as me on my side (Hank is only 43lbs). Today he is using this position to ensure Grandma and he have the optimal cuddle session.

We found a dog during the flood at 5am. We did find her owners at 8. They were out calling for her.

Candid Canines is safe and alive but a ton of property damage. We currently are flooded on and it looked like we were going to have to evacuate but the waters are currently receding.
