hello!! my name is keisha, and from a young age my love for animals has been a defining part of who i am. i am embarking on my college journey come this fall, I see animal services as a perfect opportunity to turn my passion into a practical means of funding my education. Starting when I was about 15, neighbors of mine have entrusted me to either walk their dogs, watch their animals while away on vacation, or simply let them out during the day. By offering reliable and loving care to pets in my community, I can not only earn an income but also deepen my connection with animals while supporting my academic aspirations.
While exploring options for entering the pet care industry, I considered joining various animal service apps available online. However, after researching multiple platforms, I found aspects that didn't quite align with what I was looking for. One significant factor was the pricing. Many of these platforms tend to charge higher rates to cover their operational costs and generate profit. By opting to work independently as a trusted individual without ties to any specific company, I can offer more competitive rates and ensure that pet owners receive excellent care for their animals without additional fees and costs. This approach allows me to prioritize the well-being of the pets I care for while offering affordable services that are accessible to a broader community of pet owners.
