🌟 Meet Dr. Signe Beebe — Integrative Veterinary Medicine Expert

We’re proud to have Dr. Signe Beebe, DVM, CVA, CVCH, CVFT, CTui-Na, CCRP, Reiki Master, as part of the team at Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Hospital! 💙

Dr. Beebe is a leader in Integrative Veterinary Medicine, combining the best of conventional medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, Chinese herbal therapy, food therapy, medical massage (Tui-Na), rehabilitation, and more. With decades of experience and a passion for holistic care, she provides a unique and compassionate approach to supporting pets’ health and wellbeing.

A graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Beebe has practiced emergency and critical care, authored key veterinary textbooks on Chinese herbal formulas, and continues to teach and speak at veterinary conferences across the U.S. and internationally.

We’re honored to have Dr. Beebe’s expertise here at Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Hospital — helping pets thrive with thoughtful, integrative care. 🐶🐱

🐾 Meet Dr. Lauren Pecaro, Medical Director at Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Hospital! 💙

Dr. Pecaro has been part of our Chuckanut Valley Veterinary Hospital team since February 2025, and we’re so proud to have her leading our medical team.

Originally from South Florida, Dr. Pecaro moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2010. She earned her Bachelor of Science in General Biology with a minor in Education, Learning, and Society at the University of Washington, and her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University.

Dr. Pecaro brings a passion for Greyhound and Sighthound medicine, feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, behavioral medicine, exotic animals, dermatology, and parasitology — just to name a few!

A proud Skagit Valley resident since 2022, Dr. Pecaro is dedicated to strengthening the human-animal bond and providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets in our community.

When she’s not at the hospital, she enjoys ocean adventures, hiking, figure skating, running, cooking, painting, crafting, and tending to her many houseplants. She and her partner, Chris, share their home with Tonks, a retired racing Greyhound, and two rescue cats, Hootie and Misty.

We’re grateful to have Dr. Pecaro at the helm of our medical team and look forward to continuing to provide outstanding care under her leadership!
