Tonight Alison Benson-Kopfer came out and tested some of our member dogs for CGC and CGCA. We are proud to announce that Freya (Jaci Grana) now has her CGC and Brig (Jaci Grana), Kobe (Carol and Ed Ronan) and Stark (Sherry Russo) now have their CGCA! We are super proud of all the dogs and handlers working hard in a busy park setting and handling it like pros! Huge thank you to Alison for offering to do this for us even though her distractor was bacon cooking in the sun! (LOL). Congratulations everyone!!! 🐕🎀🐕‍🦺

‼️Attention PLEASE! ‼️ Our Trial Secretary, the lovely Mrs. Carol Ronan, has sent out ALL confirmations for our July 5/6 AKC trial. Everyone whose entries were received should have received an email regarding trial status! Please check your spam / junk folders before reaching out.
If your team has been waitlisted, please know that it is not uncommon for us to have some pulls between now and our closing date of Tuesday, June 24th. Carol will continue to reach out to backfill any dropped runs via email. If teams do not receive any runs for the trial after the hard close of Tuesday, June 24th, checks will be shredded.

🦮🐾🦮Don’t forget to enter July 5/6, 2025 AKC scent work trial! Our random draw is this Saturday so get those entries in now! We will be at Camp Big Timber in Elgin, IL. We have a wonderful judging line up which includes: Christine Kozanda, David Conroy, Jodine Briel, Lora Barlow, Laura Feldt, Christina Ruddock and April Paulman. We are offering two trials per day of all levels of buried, containers, interior and exterior. Two trials of detective per day and select levels of Handler Discrimination. We hope you can join us! We are offering CGC and CGCA testing on Friday, June 20, 2025 starting at 5PM. Tests will be given a time slot and the cost per test is $25.00. Alison Benson-Kopfer will be our facilitator for this event. Please reach out to Alison at [email protected] for questions and to register.
