Just when we thought kitten season had slowed down, we were asked to help this precious little one 🐾🤍
Our formula supplies are running low, and we need to restock bottles, blankets, and other essentials to give her the best possible start. Thankfully, one of our amazing fosters has stepped up to care for her — now we just need help getting the supplies she needs.

What is CUDDLY and how does it help?
CUDDLY is a trusted fundraising platform made specifically for animal rescues and shelters. One of the things that makes it so reliable is that they verify every organization as a true, active 501(c)(3) nonprofit before allowing them to receive donations. This means donors can give with confidence, knowing their support is going directly to an approved rescue that has been fully vetted.

To get certified on CUDDLY, a rescue must provide:
• IRS-issued 501(c)(3) determination documents
• Matching EIN information
• Proof of active nonprofit status
• Identity verification for the rescue itself

Only once all documents are reviewed and approved are rescues allowed to publish campaigns. It’s one of the safest and most transparent ways people can donate to animals in need.

Sylvio is currently at the vet getting the urgent care he so desperately needs. This sweet boy has a very long road to recovery, and his treatment is extremely expensive — but he’s fighting, and we’re fighting with him.

This sweet little boy needs our help.
He’s on his way to the veterinarian right now, fighting a severe case of coccidia and conjunctivitis. He became so weak and unable to see that he crawled in front of a moving vehicle, simply because he didn’t know where he was going.

He is extremely malnourished, dehydrated, and struggling, but we’re doing everything we can to give him a chance.

A message from Makayla Robinson, Founder of OBAR

This year has brought some incredibly heavy moments, and I wanted to be transparent with our OBAR family about why I needed to step back for a bit. A few of my own personal pets — babies I had loved and cared for for many years — passed away this year. Losing them broke pieces of my heart I’m still trying to heal. Around the same time, my oldest dog was diagnosed with skin cancer, adding even more worry and emotional weight.

With everything happening at once, including family hardships, I realized that taking care of my mental and emotional health was absolutely necessary. If I completely burned out, I wouldn’t be able to help the animals who depend on us, nor the people who work alongside me.

Thank you all for your love and support, and please always be kind to other rescuers. We talk about the animals because they are always the priority — but we, as human beings, need love and support too.

Canella is still missing, but was last spotted two days ago at the Walmart parking lot! Her mama is absolutely heartbroken and worried sick. 💔
