The backstory - I reached out to them because I use their hoof wax and hoof mud daily. I’ve been wanting to try these other products for a lonnnng time - especially the hoof cleanse and shampoo.

Sometimes you have to get creative! The way Marley’s hooves are shaped right now is creating a bit of rubbing in the back of her boots as they break in. I suggested her owner get creative with socks and she used her fiancés. They’re working great and probably helping battle the bugs as well. 😂

I was going to clean up and make everything tidy for this video and then realized that would be a lie. 😂

It’s rainy as hell here and everything is muddy. Especially my which I use so frequently. So this is what it usually looks like as I’m working with these products daily.

Here we have a horse who still has a way to go on his hoof rehab. He is Insulin Resistant and exhibits signs of sub clinical laminitis, as you can see he has white line separation and bruising of the sole. To keep his feet nice and dry during the challenging rainy season, I use Hoof Wax to fill in the crevices in his white line. This product is AMAZING and in my opinion, the best and only of its kind.

Then I follow up with some Hoof Mud and dust the heel and inside of the with some Thrush Dust to keep it dry.

Then it’s back in the boot! I follow this up with all four feet.

Today I went up to Thousand Oaks to work on Marley, a sweet 22 year old gaited horse who has been having arthritis issues and foot soreness. I fit her with and pads and the whole family of owners burst into cheers as Marley became instantly happier and more forward. I love days like this. Hooray for Marley!!!! 🦄

Went down to Palo Verde today to measure the lovely Skye for because she was experiencing some foot soreness. I gave her some cushion for her feet, switched up her farrier and diet, and now she’s on her way to correcting her underrun heels. I am always grateful to work with such wonderful horses and empathetic clients, and today was no different. 🦄

UPDATE MAY 27th, 2024: Bunny continues to be completely sound and is back in work! :)

AUG 30, 2023: This super sweet horse is Bunny. Bunny was described as being so lame that she didn’t even want to go for a walk. She had completely stumped vets and her poor owner was not sure where to go next.

After treating Bunny via Zoom, I was very happy to receive a text reporting that she is now sound at a walk and nearly the trot after our session, as she is stepping heel first/flat instead of toe first. I think a cycle or two in her new setup and a little longer on the anti-inflammatory diet and she’ll be 100%. Can’t wait to see!! So grateful to owners like this who are willing to try a new approach. 😊
