🍀 Rover is 2 years old and weighs 61 pounds, and he arrived on March 6 after he was found wandering around the Dacula area. Right now he’s a little timid and shy, but underneath that cautious first impression is a chill, curious boy who’s clearly just trying to figure things out. Rover takes in the world slowly... lots of sniffing, watching, and quietly deciding if you might be his person. Give him a little patience and a little kindness, and you can see that tail start to loosen up. Honestly, we think this sweet guy just needs a bit of good luck this March… maybe the kind that ends with a couch, a yard, and someone who tells him he’s a very good boy every day. He does have heartworm, but will begin treatment with an adoption or rescue commitment!
We haven’t dog tested Rover yet, and the shelter cats have filed a formal “no thank you” to participating in those evaluations. We try not to pile on extra stress for the pups here. If you want the latest scoop, give us a call! Our kennel team knows all the Rover gossip and will happily share updates. Meet-and-greets are required because dogs are like people… sometimes it’s instant best friends, sometimes it’s a polite “nice to meet you.” We prefer to figure that out before anyone packs their bags.
✨ Feeling lucky? Come meet Rover and see if he’s been waiting for you. Just ask for ID #115714.
