We had a great weekend with the pack. Agility class on Saturday and Dock diving pool on Sunday. Ziva is fitting right in and doing fabulous for a 15 week old baby! She fell in the pool from the dock and swam to the ramp like a pro. Then she jumped in from the dock!

First time at the pool this summer. Vader learned to jump off the dock! Cash was not impressed with that mode of entry!

Vader and Cash also had fun at the 4-PAWS trial and had some really good runs. Vader almost qualified in Novice FAST but visited the judge and ran out of time! Vader. Cash got the bonus in Excellent FAST but didn't get enough points. Vader showed us that he can visit ring crew, do everything and still be under time when he qualified in Novice Standard and got first place!

Leia did great at the 4-PAWS agility trial and got two qualifying ribbons! She is getting stronger and faster and only knocked one bar the whole weekend.

When the "smallest of the sporting dogs" goes hunting. Little Leia has to work harder than the big dogs but she can do it!

Had a good lesson at the lake swimming the dogs and having them retrieve the "duck". Also had a "first time this has ever happened to us". A live duck came over very close to where the dogs were swimming. Only one dog swam after it and even then it didn't move away from where we were! Silly duck.

Cash has new initials! He finished his Beginner Novice Obedience title in 3 tries with all scores in the 190s and placements in each trial. Yesterday he earned a 1st place with a score of 193.5!

We are learning more than I ever wanted to know about disc issues in dogs! Leia had surgery for a herniated disc Monday evening and is recovering nicely. She was fine Sunday afternoon when we took her to the lake for swimming practice and a few hours later she could barely walk! Dr. Kim Neff adjusted her Monday morning and sent us to North Georgia Veterinary Specialists. They saw her immediately, did a CT with contract and operated that evening. Physical therapy started today. She is able to stand on her own and is doing great.

Finally posting some videos from the 4-PAW agility trial a few weeks ago. Leia had a great first day and got her first Double Q and 19 more PACH points. She got 15 points in her Master Standard run!
