🌱 Our Farm Stand opens THIS THURSDAY (July 10) from 4–6:30pm right out front of the farmhouse at 70 W. Delavan Ave! We’ll be there every Thursday through the growing season.

🥬 Everything we grow is beyond organic—no sprays, no chemicals, just food harvested the day of or day before using practices that nourish the soil, support biodiversity, and truly feed your body.

🧑‍🌾 When you shop with us, you're joining a movement to know your farmer and resist an exploitative food system. This is small-scale, community-rooted, people-powered farming. Your support feeds both your body and a neighborhood working together to grow good things. 💚

A quick note to let you know there will be no Contemplation & Cultivation gathering on Saturday, July 5th at the farm.

We’ll be back together on Saturday, July 12th at 10am — we look forward to reflecting and growing with you then.

Contemplation & Cultivation is our weekly gathering of volunteers. This is a time of reflection and togetherness at the farm. We take the first hour to observe and discuss whats going on around, within, and between us, and then partner together to work on the farm.

Legend has it that St. Isidore would spend so much time in prayer that other farmers wondered how his fields were always so well-tended. The answer? Angels, it is said, came in the night to help with his farm work—rewarding his devotion with unseen support.

This is why we reach out to our community. During this crucial and fruitful time of the season, when every hand is needed in the soil, you are the angels who make this work possible.

This Saturday, help us get plants in the ground before Memorial Day—and then join us for a meal grown and prepared with gratitude by the farm.

We will have two waves of farmwork with a lunch feast in between. Come for one wave or both, but please join us for lunch either way. The schedule will be as follows:

10AM - 1PM: First Wave of farmwork
1 - 2PM: Lunch feast
2PM - 5PM: Second Wave of farmwork

Every May, we gather our community not just to work the land, but to honor the spirit of St. Isidore—the quiet farmer-saint who reminds us that there is holiness in our hands and grace in the soil.

Come plant with us, pray with us, and share in a meal that feeds more than hunger. All are welcome.

Farmhouse Friday is a community dinner hosted by the Buffalo Vineyard Church and 5 Loaves Farm on the first Friday of every month. It's a come-as-you-are, pay-what-you-want dinner.

All are welcome. The food offered is vegetarian-friendly and halal-friendly 🧡

We’re teaming up with the Dewitt St. Block Club, West Buffalo Charter School, and M&T Bank to show some love to our neighborhood. 💚

The Annual Earth Day Community Clean-Up is Saturday, April 26 from 11–2 p.m. ✨Just show up at 131 Dewitt Street—no need to sign up. We’ll have all the clean-up supplies you need.

Wrap up the day with refreshments at the 5 Loaves Farmhouse (70 W. Delavan Ave) and the good feeling that comes from doing something real for your community. 🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us around the table this winter—it’s been a joy sharing warm meals and good company with you. Let’s make this last one special!

Our last Soup Night of the winter season is Friday, March 7th, from 5:30–7:30 PM.

And mark your calendars—Farmhouse Friday community dinners return on May 2nd with a (hopefully) outdoor BBQ to kick off the summer season!
