Dr. Dallas has been at Genetech this week thawing frozen embryos and learning how to aspirate ovaries!

We still plan on having GeneTech USA coming to aspirate, but wanted to provide a service that allowed Dr. Shaw to put ICSI embryos in recipients closer to home!

🐍🚨 RATTLESNAKE BITES IN HORSES 🚨🐍

We’ve seen an increase in rattlesnake bites recently with the current weather and conditions. 🌡️☀️🐍

If your horse is bitten by a rattlesnake, please have them seen by 88 Equine as soon as possible! ⏰🏥

Early veterinary treatment can help limit the severity of symptoms and complications, which can include:

⚠️ Severe swelling
⚠️ Difficulty breathing
⚠️ Airway swelling/closing
⚠️ Tissue damage
⚠️ Infection
⚠️ Weakness and systemic illness
⚠️ Cardiovascular complications, including heart failure ❤️

🐴 Do not wait for symptoms to become severe. Bites can progress quickly, and prompt treatment is extremely important.

If you suspect your horse has been bitten, call your Dr. Shaw immediately and get them seen as soon as possible. 📞🚑

• Some Saturdays for cow sales

Experience is not required — we’re willing to train the right person! We are looking for someone with:
• A great attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work well with others
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfort working around both horses and cattle
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions

Job duties include:
🐴 Patient care
🌾 Feeding and caring for horses
🧹 General barn/clinic duties
🐄 Working with horses and cattle, including cow sale Saturdays
💪 Helping keep up in a busy, fast-paced environment
