PUPPY ALERT! This week’s Seneca Star is Gordie! He is an adorable puppy of about 6 months old that came in with his sister. His sister was adopted and now Gordie is looking for a loving home of his own.

Gordie is fun, playful and can be jumpy- All typical puppy behaviors that will require patience and guidance from his new adopters. Gordie warmed up nicely in playgroups with other dogs. We believe he would shine with another dog.

This week’s Seneca Star is Roxanne! At five years old, Roxanne is what we call the perfect age—young enough to enjoy a good walk but well past the puppy chaos. She’s middle-aged, well-mannered, and full of charm.
She appears housebroken, knows “sit” and “down,” and takes treats like an absolute lady. On her walks, she greets everyone with calm tail wags and stands patiently—no jumping, no fuss. Just polite “please love me” energy.
And if you don’t have a treat? Prepare for the look. Those eyes will call you out in the gentlest way.
