🟣🐶 G R O O M H A V E N UPDATE 🐶🟣

Hello! I apologize for pretty much ghosting everyone the last 4-6 months! It has been an insane year and even more insane few months.
I originally had planned to hire on at the beginning of the new year and be back to grooming myself this spring… but unfortunately some unexpected big changes have occurred in my personal life and for my grooming business.
I will still be hiring on before I return, but it won’t be right away in the new year as planned.
After having my daughter we had a rough couple months trying to figure out some struggles she had from birth.
We got answers recently, and unfortunately for my business, I will have to set it aside as my family and I navigate our new reality.
My family comes first and I am needed at home with my kids to help our family adjust. She is okay, and she will be okay, but she will need me 100% of the time.
Once we get settled in with everything, I will have time to sit down and get a game plan for Groom Havens future.
I’m not closing down for good!
I WILL BE up and running again in 2026!
Just having to put a slight pause on it for now.
I may be able to do some grooms here and there in the evenings soon, but that is still in the air. . . Bare with me 🙏🏽

She is wonderful!
I have had my pups groomed by her a couple times now since I have been on maternity leave, and she does a great job! My pups love her, and yours will too! ♥️🐶🐶🐶

I just wanted to jump on here and give a little Groom Haven update.
For those of you who don’t know, I am expecting our second baby this September! ☺️
So I will be starting to cut back a little as the weeks go by.
I have been having more issues physically this pregnancy than I did the last, so I’m more restricted this time around with my grooming.
I am positive I will have to go on maternity leave sooner than I plan to.
✨ Unfortunately, there will be times that I have to cancel last minute or the week of your appointment, due to doctor appointments or me just not being able to groom physically that day.
Big dogs have been extremely difficult for me already.

✨ With that being said, if you all would like to start looking for a back up groomer, I just wanted to give you all a heads up as far ahead as I can, so your pups don’t go too long without their grooms.

‼️ I have had an intern with me for about a month now and she will be hired on to the Groom Haven family this fall while Im on maternity leave, but the scheduling for my fill in will be a little different than mine.
She will not be starting until September/October sometime.
I will have to go on maternity leave starting in July or August, depending on how things progress for me.
So there is a chance I will have to cancel all grooms in July, August, and September that I have scheduled already.
I won’t know for sure until my due date gets closer.
❗️ For sure all of September will be cancelled, due to me being due that first week of September❗️

If you are on my book from July - September and want to see if you can get in with another groomer until I return or my fill in can get you in, just incase you end up having to be canceled on last minute by me… I will not be offended!!
I totally understand! ♥️
Just please let me know if you are able to get on with someone else, so I can take you off my schedule.
Just to stay organized with my book 😊

The sickness train has blown full force into the Cotter house over the weekend…
I will be reaching out to clients I have this week, the evening before your appointment, if I need to reschedule or not! Me and my husband have two different sicknesses, but I wouldn’t want either one of them grabbing onto anyone else that comes here.
You all are amazing for sticking with me even after all the cancellations and rescheduling I’ve have to do the last like 6 months 😩🫶🏽
Some of your appointments seem to fall on all these bad luck times every time i have you down too 🤦🏽‍♀️

My whole family was super sick a couple weeks ago, now we have a bunch of Christmas things going on, so I am behind on scheduling ya’ll.

Hello! I usually start scheduling for January right about now, but the sickness bomb as hit the Cotter household this week.
We have been down for the count, so I haven’t had time to reach out or go through my book yet.
Please bare with me! I promise I’ll get to everyone and make sure ya’ll get down for the new year.
My baby and family come first though, so once I get them and myself back on our feet I will be reaching out to get 2025 rollin’ ! 😁

✨ Just wanted to jump on here quick and let everyone know I will be officially taking on new clients January 2025! ✨

If you would like to book for next year give me a message or text if you have my number already and I will get you on my list to contact once I begin scheduling for the new year!
🔻in your message let me know how many dogs, their names, their breed and size 🔺
If you have already message me on any platform asking to book, I already have ya on my list and will text/message you once I start!
I usually will start scheduling for the new year in December.
I will be getting my current clients on my schedule first, then I will go down my list for new clients 😁

Hey, guess what ya’ll?

✨ I’M SCHEDULING GROOMS ✨

I will be using Mondays as my “office” days where I sit down & schedule and do other things for Groom Haven.
If you do not hear from me the day you text/call me to schedule I will get back to you as soon as that next Monday rolls around. You can also text me on a Monday and I will get you down immediately.
Just trying to feel things out and see what works best for me now.
I will not be replying to anything work related over the weekends, unless it’s an emergency 🫶🏽

Im trying harder to separate life and work now that Im working from home.
I wont always be available even though I am home.

⭐️ Im still not taking new clients, Im sorry for the inconvenience with that!
BUT If you have talked to me about grooming, or I have groomed your dog/cat from 2022 to now, then you are in the clear for scheduling 👌🏽⭐️

For now I am only grooming Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays!
Again, just to see where I am at with clients and how well my body will handle the grooming madness 😆

Hey ya’ll! I know its been a while since you have seen or heard from me. Its been a BUSY year after having my son last year.

Just a little update:
With me starting to groom from
home full time once I am open…..
If you know my address - Please please PLEASE do not give out my address to anyone…
You can give them my number to contact me or through social media.
I may be working from home, but that does not mean I want random people I do not know, knowing where I live OR people just showing up for nail trims or grooms without scheduling with me…
I will not take walk ins.
I will ONLY be taking clients I have groomed from 2022 to when I went on maternity leave.
Im not excepting new clients at the moment.
Once I reach out to everyone and get a good head count of who will be returning to me, then I can decide if I have room for new clients. 😊
There will be changes in prices once I return.
Although not everyones prices will change… it just depends on the size, weight, and coat type/condition of your dog.
As for scheduling I wont be as flexible as I have been in the past.
My son will always come first, so please respect that. 🤗

I cannot wait to see ya’ll again!
