🐴Last day of our 5 day horse camp! (6/5/26)🐴

We started the day off showing parents around the barn and our favorite animals and horses!!

While we worked on worksheets, anyone who wanted to clean a stall that didnt get to do so the other day had their chance today! Everyone earned their stall cleaning sticker!

We also went over body parts of the horse and rode outside on Uno, Zackie and brushed Annabelle out in the pasture. Lots of laughs, teamwork and fun throughout the week.

🐴Day 4 of our 5 day horse camp (6/4/26)🐴

Today we got to groom more, go over body parts and tack while those who didnt get to ride Annabelle yesterday rode her in the pasture! We also got to ride Deedee, Beau, and Gracie!

While we switched off riding so it wasnt crowded we made our camp T-Shirts to wear tomorrow, ate lunch and played with the goats, helped with water and Fed snacks to some of the animals!

We had some campers wanting to earn their stall cleaning sticker today so we had a couple groups rotate there as well!

To end the day and cool off we played a water & cup game in teams, we ended with some more wet than others, but full of laughs and smiles!

🐴3rd day of our 5 day horse camp! (6/3/26)🐴

Today we did more grooming, walking of some of the ponies, played with the goats and helped with giving the animals water.

Today we got to split up in groups and some rode outside today on Annabelle, Zackie and Uno (tomorrow's group will get to do this) while the other group got to ride Oakly and Joey.

We played a scavenger hunt of the Hillman Horsemanship barn rules and had to find the photos that matched the rules! We also got to paint Hazel!

Some campers started learning how to clean stalls to earn a sticker on their folders!

🐴 2nd day of our 5 day horse camp! (6/2/26)🐴

Today we tested our knowledge on all the animals, grooming tools and Horse vocabulary. We got to learn western and English terms (Jogging & loping for Western, Trot & cantering for English)

We got to groom Beauty, Doc, Peonee and Millie beginning of camp and got to play with all the goats!

We got to ride Zackie, Oakly, Deedee, and Joey today and we did groom Hazel. Scaredy cat even came out to visit! Those who were a little scared to ride the other ba****ck got to ride in a saddle today as well. Some campers even told us they loved ba****ck more.

🐴 First day of our 5 day horse camp! (6/1/26)🐴

Today we got to learn all about the horses and other farm animals around the barn, including breeds, coat colors, their names and facts!

We got to ride Uno, Zackie and Chicka today but also got to brush and walk Hazel, Joey, Oakly, Annabelle and Lola! We got to practice posture on the Equicizers, learn grooming tools and tack today as well!

After lunch/ snack we got to play a water tack game to help us cool down in the heat today while also having fun learning terminology!

We had a magical unicorn birthday party today. Willow, Peaonee & Millie had a great time. Happy Birthday Eva🎂🎉🥳🦄

We had 3 people today, so we got a lot done and a lot of check offs!!

We worked on adjusting helmets, body parts of a horse, picking out hooves, cleaning stalls, grooming tools, brushing, feeding hay to the animals, walking horses in and out of the barn, working on body language of a horse, working on saddle parts and the difference of the english and western saddles along with the disciplines.

Lots of laughs, smiles and working hard!

Last day of our 3 day kick off camp!! (5/29/26)

It rained a bit, but that didnt stop the fun!!

AM group got the most rain, but we found frogs, fed the turtles and got to interact with the baby sheep!
We broke into stations to ride Annabelle (our biggest horse!), Uno, Zackie, painted Hazel and made camp Tshirts! We also got some more campers who earned stickers for body parts, barn hazards and horse vocabulary. Lots of laughs, riding and learning!

PM group helped with feeding all the horses,doing inhand work with Sprit, riding White Willow, walking the alpacas outside, playing games, making their camp Tshirts, playing in puddles, learning horse vocabulary and feeding the baby sheep!
