🌟Hillman Horsemanship Equestrian Academy🌟
Today for the unmounted group: Worked on body language and understanding what each movement means, cleaning out hooves and why its important, doing quick release knots, grooming and learning all about the tools used, feeding, cleaning stalls and all it takes, then ended it with studying saddle parts!
Licorice also hung out with the groups today!
Today for mounted: we practiced random movements on our Equicizers in a 2-point and standing position! (Made for a lot of laughs and a good challenge) we also groomed, cleaned hooves and tacked up for our saddle challenge......Standing in the stirrups and balancing for 2 laps! We also went over direction changes at the same time. We used the Equicizers again to learn about a saftey seat and pully rein along with the one- rein stop and when we'd use it (why we didnt do it on a real horse) and went over when its safer to do an emergency dismount over the saftey seat/ pully rein combo.
