FOUND: Castine Road, Orland

Black lop rabbit. Please email [email protected] [the ACO is currently out of town]

This will be the fourth rabbit found in the Bucksport/Orland area. If anyone knows anything about this or where they may be coming from, please contact us by phone or email. Our ACO will be back on Nov 29th.

Please remember, domesticated rabbits are not equipped to live in the wild! Note: the Bucksport Animal Shelter is not equipped to intake rabbits, only cats and dogs but if you have to rehome one, please reach out as we will find placement for stray or abandoned rabbits!

This dog was found on Leaches Point Rd near Glory Dr in Orland. He is currently at the Bucksport Animal Shelter. If you know anything about this dog please contact ACO Brandon Patterson at 207-323-6033 and also the Bucksport Animal Shelter 207-307-8090.

A huge thank you to the groomers from Orland Grooming for giving our two pups a much needed spa day!

Mara- smaller white 4 month old female

Will both be looking for separate forever homes very soon!

Let us introduce Kirby!

Kirby is about 2-3yrs and was recently transferred to us from our friends at the Bucksport Animal Shelter. This guy has spent many months waiting for a home but was being overlooked time and time again. Kirby is definitely not lacking in the looks department, that round squishy face and extra toes on every foot 😻

Kirby can be shy in new environments, but with time he will blossom into a lovely man. He seems great with other cats and dogs.
