Join Oldham County Animal Control, and Oldham County Humane Society on May 30th, 2026, at Blackwoof Inn for a day of fun in the sun.
There will be food and supply venders set up.
There will be a fun obstacle course and Lure Course for the dogs, as well as a bouncy house for the kids, and we are going to have live music to enjoy the day!

We are looking for anyone that would want to volunteer for this event to help out with various tasks.

Parking
Bounce House supervision
Setting up and cleaning up afterwards
Handling dogs
Supervising the obstacle run
Lanyards will be provided to identify the workers.
There will be pizza and drinks provided for all volunteers for lunch.

Rooster is now available and in search of his new furever home!!

Rooster is a brown/white 3yo Pitbull mix.
He originally came to us as a stray, found running loose on Hemlock ave.
He is very sweet with people, but he is very timid in the shelter environment. We want to find this sweet baby a home as soon as possible!!
