Continuing on from yesterday's post about the difference between pinto (a color) and Paint (a breed), here are five examples of pintos which are not Paints. These five horses are all FSA registered Friesian Sporthorses who are pinto colored but have no Paint blood.
left to right:
MALANI P.R.F. (her coloring comes from her Dutch Warmblood sire), MIRAMAR (her coloring comes from her Saddlebred grandsire), and MELCHIZEDEK, AMERICUS ROF and CORNELIS who all get their pinto coloring from Dutch Warmblood ancestors.
