We attended a cold and windy GWA IEA show at Wellspring Farm Saturday. Though we were all clearly chilly, no one complained about the cold weather! That’s sportsmanship!! Regal and Siegfried were were well behaved despite the weather! In fact, to the credit of my contemporary trainers, all the horses at the show were not affected by the cold wind and a good time was had!!

Idlewild is once again looking for an employee that is capable of feeding and turning out horses. We also need someone that can clean stalls. The stall cleaner does not have to have experience handeling horses the feeder does need horse experience. Someone that can do both is ideal but the stalls require a certain level of physical fitness in this heat and the feeder requires a certain amount of horse experience. We are happy to hire both separately if there isn’t someone who can do both. The position is part time but there is plenty of opportunity for hours if you want more. Please contact
