We cannot thank everyone enough for the donations, prayers, shares, and kind words throughout this journey. It is truly amazing to see a community come together to make sure Nala can make her journey home.

Unfortunately, Nala the Florida German Shepherd, has been struck and killed on I79 at Jane Lew. We sure could use your help to get her home. We dropped her at All Pets Crematory in Nutter Fort. We have absorbed the entire cost of this recovery mission and cremation. If you could help with even $10. Why? It’s the right thing to do, help a person in distress. Thank you all from Longspur.

Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! ❤️🐾 🚨Update: Our efforts to bring Nala home safely have sadly transitioned from a search and recovery mission to making arrangements for her cremation. She is currently at All Pets Cremation & Funeral Services.
If anyone would still like to donate, the funds raised will help cover her cremation expenses and assist with bringing Nala back home to her family in Florida.

We have been assisting with the ongoing effort to safely bring Nala home. Our team has spent multiple days traveling to Jane Lew, flying our drone, and working to narrow down her location.
Nala and her family are from Florida, and although her owner had to return home temporarily, no one has given up on getting Nala safely back to her family. After a sighting yesterday, we have narrowed her location to an area away from the interstate.
We will continue our efforts using drones and live traps in the days ahead. This has become a multiple-day, extensive recovery effort, and anyone who would like to donate toward helping bring Nala home would be greatly appreciated.
If you see Nala, please do not chase, yell for, or attempt to catch her. She is extremely scared and unfamiliar with the area. Simply send us the time and exact location of the sighting so we can track her movements.
Thank you to everyone who has provided updates and especially to the local Jane Lew community members who have been there for Nala's owner during this difficult time. We are not giving up on Nala.

LOST DOG – PLEASE HELP US FIND NALA 🐾
We are currently in the Jane Lew area searching for a lost German Shepherd named Nala. She is scared and may run if approached.
If you see Nala, please DO NOT chase her. Instead, take note of the exact time and location of the sighting and contact us immediately. This information is extremely important in helping us determine her movements and plan our search.
Nala is wearing a pink collar. There were several sightings earlier today, but unfortunately, we have not received a recent sighting. We have been actively searching for approximately three hours with no visual contact.
Her family is from out of state and is only in the area for the weekend, so time is critical.
