Kimmy's Furfriends Sanctuary I'm a simple girl who loves animals and want to share them with you. Please note - PENDING. I live in Phoenix, Arizona which is Maricopa County.

We are not currently a 501c(3) rescue organization and your donations to our plight are not tax deductible. We have always cared for - dependent upon the private donations of generous friends, family, businesses, individuals - and out of our own pockets. We are limited on both space and funding - as well as physical ability - so we are able to take in and provide for only a limited number of pets

at any given time - determined on a "case by case" basis.**

Kimmy's Fur-Friends is a no-kill rescue dedicated to rescuing senior pets from high kill shelters, owner surrenders and strays. We vet the seniors, and find try and find all pets wonderful forever homes. We have the 2nd highest euthanasia rate in the country for chihuahuas and pitbulls. We have a lot of senior dogs that get turned into Maricopa County Animal Care and Control. Either the owner dies or has to go to assisted living/nursing facility and the family cannot take the senior dog. We have a lot of snow birds and retirees. I am a NOT FOR PROFIT senior small dog sanctuary in Buckeye, Arizona. I have opened my home on an acre to these seniors to live and to be protected for the rest of their lives until their natural death. I usually take the throw away chihuahuas mostly because of behavioral issues. I occasionally take small adoptable dogs. if you are interested in adopting, please reach out through text or email.

�Please keep in mind that like many small breeds, chihuahuas, can be incredibly stubborn with potty training and can even struggle with accidents their entire lives. It IS possible for potty training to be successful, but it will take work.

�All will be spayed/neutered, have been given age appropriate vaccines, and are microchipped. The adoptions range from $250+.

�We DO allow out of state adoptions. Adopters will be required to come to Arizona for their adoption. [email protected]

Good morning. Can you guess what today is? It's $5 Friday. I'm respectfully asking for your assistance in supporting the furry friends by liking and sharing this post on your page. As you're aware, my rescue is dedicated to helping senior chihuahuas and small dogs with behavioral issues, many of whom are sanctuary dogs that were previously abandoned. They are family to me. The cost of running a rescue is substantial, and I'm currently shouldering the burden alone.
