Lake Area Animal Clinic is excited to announce that we are looking for a third Veterinarian to join our team!

We are a small animal general practice located in Buchanan Dam Texas that takes pride in providing compassionate care while building strong relationships with our clients and their pets. Our clinic is known for our supportive team environment, loyal client base, and commitment to practicing quality medicine.

Welcome to our new member, Lake Area Animal Clinic! Lake Area Animal Care opened over 50 years ago here in Buchanan Dam to provide veterinarian care to all local pets, including expert surgical and reproductive care. Emergency and urgent care are available the same day during business hours for timely support. And new clients can book their first appointment for free!

Lake Area Animal Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the office closed from 12:30 to 1:30 pm for lunch. Dr. Cupepper and Dr. Werbelow lead a team of wonderful staff who love animals and provide excellent care for your pets! Say hi to Josie, Alex, Gage, and Melanie, the support team making sure our pets get top-notch love and care.

🎄It’s Christmas time at Lake Area Animal Clinic!!🎄

Lake Area Animal Clinic is doing an Angel Tree Donation Drive for our local Animal Shelters and Animals in need!

If you would like to donate here is what you can do:

🎄 Pick an angel from our angel tree with a physical item written on it, take the Angel off of our Christmas tree and take it with you to a local store where you can purchase the item(s). *All items donated must be new, no used items* Once you have purchased the item(s), you will bring the item(s) to our clinic with the Angel from the tree and turn in the item(s) and Angel to our Receptionist at the front desk.

🎄 Donate to our angel fund: Donations can be made over the phone or in person by taking an angel off the tree with “angel fund” written on it. Our Angel fund provides support for pets whose families can’t afford treatment. Every dollar goes directly towards pets in need that come into our clinic. Donations accepted via cash or card.

Any contribution no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated!!!
