After many wonderful years of serving our community and caring for your beloved pets, Lake Area Animal Clinic will be closing its doors.

We are incredibly grateful for the trust, support, and friendships we have built with our clients and patients over the years. It has truly been an honor to care for your furry family members through every stage of life.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your pets’ journeys and for supporting our clinic throughout the years. The memories, kindness, and loyalty from this community will always mean so much to us.

Our final day seeing patients will be Friday May 29th.
If you need your pets medical records you can call or email us, or we can send them to a clinic of our choice.

Please be patient with us as this news is just as heartbreaking to the staff as it is to clients, and we will have a very busy 2 weeks ahead.

Welcome to our new member, Lake Area Animal Clinic! Lake Area Animal Care opened over 50 years ago here in Buchanan Dam to provide veterinarian care to all local pets, including expert surgical and reproductive care. Emergency and urgent care are available the same day during business hours for timely support. And new clients can book their first appointment for free!

Lake Area Animal Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the office closed from 12:30 to 1:30 pm for lunch. Dr. Cupepper and Dr. Werbelow lead a team of wonderful staff who love animals and provide excellent care for your pets! Say hi to Josie, Alex, Gage, and Melanie, the support team making sure our pets get top-notch love and care.
