We miss you so much boy… I know humans are supposed to care for and protect you and we did… but we relied on your love, the inspiration you brought with the way you fought your demons and learned how to love and trust, and your strength as our protector… when with you Whisky we could believe that nothing would touch us… safeguarding us in all ways, keeping the bad out and the good in -we miss you deeply every day boy…

I miss you little brother Whisky, you may have been 1000% bigger than me, you may have been my body guard when walking the hood, but you were my bestie and we went through so much together… I knew you were sick… I snuggled you more in the end and you actually let me do so… I am sad and still not myself friend… I hope you are OK wherever you are and having fun with LuLu Miso Chase… your new buddies on the other side. Mama really misses you terribly and I am doing my best to be cheerful and fill your big shoes… I know you took baby stuffy whisky with you, but I am trying to keep Alli, Henry, Rookie and all your stuffy friends that you left behind…mama was going to get rid of your bed because it breaks her heart to see it empty but I have been snuggling down in your stuffy pile - so while the bed is 100% too big for me, it makes me miss you less… miss you, love you.

Last night when human one took little dog for his walk at 11pm, she turned and saw a dark yellow bright wisp above our roof… it hovered and she thought it was a firefly… but it was too large, and then swoosh it went blazing upward not vertically but at 80 degree angle towards the sky…. She had asked for a sign… I know she meant a sign that I had come back in another life, but I couldn’t wait to show her how much I missed her.
