DOG OWNERS: PLEASE don't walk your dogs in the heat of the day. Stick to sunrise or closer to sunset.

We are entering our longest/hottest stretch of summer with highs near 100° for the next couple of weeks. Walking on the sidewalk is a no-no with concrete temps up to 130° under the sun. Walking on asphalt is borderline criminal with puppy paws burning quickly on 140°+ temps.

If you can't put your hand on the ground without feeling pain, your pups can't walk on it. This has been a PSA

Nessa is a sweet, low-energy Cur mix who gets along with everyone — dogs, cats, people, you name it! She’s gentle, affectionate, walks beautifully on a leash, and loves car rides. The perfect companion for a calm and loving household.
Ghost is a fun-loving, high-energy Husky mix who’s sure to keep you entertained. He swims like a champ, plays fetch (sometimes solo!), and even sings! While he's not a fan of cats, he gets along well with other dogs who can match — or tolerate — his lively spirit.
We are open until 5pm today.
