Nice 10 finished up!
This deer was killed back in 2013, and due to unfortunate circumstances didn't get mounted.
Last year it was brought to my shop, and thankfully the skin was still in decent condition.. and i just got it finished up!
Now that's a good feeling😀

Really cool drop tine buck!
He was found dead 19 years ago, cause of death unknown. and was preserved as a European skull mount. But with the help of a spare Cape he's mounted up and back home.

I typically think of a 6 point as a one and a half year old deer.. but this mature deer makes you think a little differently about a 6 point!
This old guy was pretty scarred up!

Beautiful early season deer! Just freshly put together!
I normally wait to post pictures until after they are dried and painted..but I thought this one deserved some pictures right away😀

Before I started doing taxidermy I didn't realize how different in color each deer is 🙂

You can see by the scars on this buck that he was a fighter!
Customer said he came in slightly ticked off, so it was really fun trying to bring that attitude back!
