I've brought home two baby chicks that are doing well. They have water and chick feed. They are housed in a plastic container with shavings with a chicken wire over the top to keep them from jumping out.

Did anyone else buy any chicks during April chick days?

During the month of April there were baby chicks for sale at the Tractor Trailer Supply, Producers Coop and the Bryan Feed and Grain. My parents and I bought several baby chicks and today we have nine adolescent hens and we have a hen house. I enjoy watching the hens and we hope that we will begin laying eggs.
