An all natural, green pet spa offering "one at a time" pet grooming in a quiet home setting wiithout the use of perfumes or chemicals.

I offer all pet grooming (dogs, cats, bunnies...even had a guinea pig come in once!) without the use of chemicals, perfumes, or additives. Every product I use is all natural and green. I have a one pet at a time policy, meaning I schedule throughout the day and only work on your dog when they are with me and then they are ready for immediate pickup. I work out of my home in a quiet and calm settin

g unlike many stressful and noisy kennels. I have many specialty services available, including tooth brushing, hot oil treatments, and shed free treatments, to name a few. My chickens are laying again if anyone wants eggs! $5/dozen rainbow eggs! Or I have wee bantam eggs too, $3/dozen. Theyre very fun to hard-boiled or decorate/dye.

As we approach the next snowpocalypse I wanted to remind people I never expect you to brave a blizzard to make your appointment and do not charge for same day cancels if you wake up and realize we have traveled to Alaska overnight. I only ask you let me know as soon as possible. Stay safe everybody!

Tomorrow I will be sending out everyone's dates with the following message of updated policies. I am so very sorry I am so behind! Life has been sheer chaos!

Happy New Year and my deepest apologies for this very late send off of your 2026 grooming appointments! I have put your fur kid into the schedule trying to adhere to your request the closest I could. I am now mostly full for the summer months and into the fall. With your dates I'm sending along my updated policy as follows:
1.) My new hours depending on day are 9:15-1pm, 9:15-4:30 or 5pm, closed every other Monday when I am open every other Saturday, closed for all major holidays. I will be taking a longer lunch break as well to care for my animals, and because of their care I will not be available until 9:15 at open, during my lunch break, and after close, but unattended check in and check out upon request is still available.
2.) Due to continued no shows and trying to make ends meet for my family, I am instituting a new policy. Your first no show will be charged at 75% of your grooming fee, but after that any further no shows will be full charge and after 3 no shows I will have to drop you as a client. This has only happened twice in my 15 years! Late fees remain $5 per 10 minutes late. At 15 minutes late you are considered a no show. The moment an emergency arises, text me. If you wake up ill, a blizzard has hit, your car breaks down, I will not charge you for an unavoidable EMERGENCY as long as you inform me immediately, otherwise I require minimum 24 hour notice. I will be trying very hard to send reminder texts the evening before your appointment or the last weekday before.
3.) Cash, check or venmo remain my methods of payment.
4.) All dogs must be leashed! ALL dogs MUST be leashed. I have delivery drivers and other clients that whip into my drive, ducks and chickens that free range, designated potty areas, and other dogs that may be coming in that are not dog friendly. For EVERYONES safety, all dogs must be leashed to and from the building, and for little dogs being carried or crated in, please allow them a potty break before their groom.

I've been hard at work on the 2026 schedule for 5 days now, and I'm getting closer, but I've been battling a nasty virus for 10 days now and it's slowing me up. I am waiting to send everyone their list of dates until I have figured out how to fit everyone in, since some dates move around a little with other flexible people. My plan is to have everyone contacted with your 2026 schedule by January 1st. But I'm a mom first, and once my son comes home tomorrow I'm going to pause schedule work until after Christmas. I hope everyone has a blessed holiday and I pray none of you get this awful crud that's been spreading around!

I'm sad to say that I am unable to keep the big ole mastiff, Groot, I rescued and some of you have met. I rescued him through the cheboygan humane society and I'm waiting to hear back from them on procedure as rehoming must go through them, but thought I'd reach out now to see if anyone has any interest. Most of you know I'm a single mom. Groot snapped at my son and knowing my sons issues, there is far too much risk to keep him. Groot is reactive about food and certain toys with other animals. He will growl/bark and snap at the air, but has never made contact, but he has put one of my other dogs and one cat onto the floor, just sliming them, never a mark. This was already an issue, but when he did this behavior towards my son, I had to throw in the towel. Groot needs a quieter home with adults who can show him they are alpha, as he has never done any of this behavior towards me, with either no other pets or another dog who is submissive, low energy, and I suggest female. He has graduated basic obedience with a trainer, knows many commands, and is very gentle and loving and playful. He's up to date on all shots, recently vetted, and comes with many supplies and a completed embark test. I believe his adoption fee will be $125 through the cheboygan humane society. I will hopefully be able to connect with them Monday. I would like to keep him out of the kennel and find him a home before my son returns in a week. I'm very grateful and humbled by all of the wonderful reviews you lovely people have left on Google. It made me very proud to see my business ranked so high! I will be celebrating my 15th year running my little shop, just me and your wonderful pups and kitties, this December!

A few updates! First I truly apologize for it taking me so long to deposit checks lately. Life has been crazy! Second, I am also way behind on my 2026 schedule. I have the highest hopes to start reaching out to people the first few weeks in December.

Starting in 2026 my hours will adjust to 9:15-12:45 on my short days and 9:15-4:30 on my long days with a 1 hr 15 min lunch break where I will be closed to work my dogs. Self pickup or drop off is still available if you need to pick up or drop off early during this time. As always I try very hard to do reminder texts the day before your appointment but please don't rely on them. I'm a single mom running my small farm and business all on my own and sometimes time escapes me! Due to continued "no shows" my policy for 2026 will be the same as 2025 (75% of your grooming fee for any no show without 24 hour notice or emergency reason,) but my new add on, is if you have had a previous no show, any future no shows will be charged at full price of your grooming and the cut off time is 15 minutes past your appointment time. I hate to do this but I cannot fill these slots at the last second and it directly impacts my income for my family. And please text me the moment you become aware you can't make it if an emergency arises, because this gives me time to try to get someone else in.

I will be closed from 1pm to 2pm on Friday the 31st for my sons Halloween parade at school. Also get those dates for 2026 to me, because I'm going to start getting on my schedule next week. Hope everyone has a wonderful Halloween!!! Trick or treat and happy fall from my family to yours!
