Okay I promise I’m going to hold it together while writing this..🥺

This is Freckles! My first ever real boarding pup! I’ve been watching this girl since 2021/2022 I believe!
This dog is a dog that you meet and you wouldn’t want to give her back. Freckles have been through my whole life story to now! Through every heartbreak to every laughter.

On Saturday, I got a call from Mr. Micheal and Mrs Susan that they were on the way to Jefferson hospital to put my baby down. Freckles recently got diagnosed with some life changing news that will only worsen. Symptoms started to make her decline and it wasn’t a life for our sweet girl because we knew freckles and she wouldn’t like to feel this way to the end. I was so blessed to see freckles for her last day on our earth and it meant so much to us that all Allison Nicolosi LeBlanc had to tell her mom is, who is going to tell Kristy and Saige!” It just means the world that we were a part of her life! She was coming to us in a month I believe and now our beds will be empty🥺
We will love you always my freckles 🐾🕊️

Oh and btw I think she came down to us and might’ve went into Mr Earls body or something because Earl was doing the exact things that Freckles would do with us!🥹

Miss. Darla🐾

There’s something so special about earning the trust of a nervous pup. 💕 This sweet girl arrived a little unsure and timid, sticking close and taking everything in at her own pace. But with a little patience, lots of love, and the company of new friends, it didn’t take long for her to let her guard down and show us the beautiful personality hiding underneath.

By the end of her stay, she was playing, exploring, and soaking up every bit of affection as if she’d been here all along. Watching a first-time boarder find comfort and confidence is one of the greatest joys of what we do. We’re so proud of this brave girl for coming out of her shell, and our hearts are already looking forward to the next time she comes to stay. 🐾🤍

🚨 Important Health Reminder 🚨

We wanted to make everyone aware that kennel cough (Bordetella) has been reported in a few local dogs recently. At this time, there have been NO reported cases at S’s Furry Pet Suites🤞🏼, and we are taking every precaution to help keep all of our furry guests healthy and safe.

If your pup has been exposed to kennel cough, is currently coughing, or has shown any respiratory symptoms within the last 2 weeks, please notify me before your stay. Unfortunately, I will not be able to accommodate dogs that may be contagious, as the safety of all dogs in my care is my top priority.

If your pup is experiencing symptoms, don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m happy to help guide you in the best direction and discuss when it may be safe for your baby to return to daycare or boarding.

🐾 Gagging after coughing
🐾 Sneezing
🐾 Runny nose
🐾 Mild lethargy
