What you do in the weeks leading up to weaning can make a difference in how your calves perform. Vaccinations, fly control, deworming, and any dehorning or castrating are best done before weaning. This way, a calf is not dealing with additional stress while trying to figure out how to survive without mom. No two operations are exactly the same, and your herd may need a different approach. We’re excited to introduce Dalayna Tadolini as our new Office Manager here at Cattleman’s Resource. With an accounting degree and years of management and coaching experience, she brings a high level of organization and drive that’s already making our whole team sharper. Her work will keep our operations running smoother so we can help you with yours.

Stop by the store sometime and say hello. If she’s not in the office, you can probably find her coaching and developing leaders in our girls’ youth and high school basketball teams.
