Happy Summer all. It's officially here and here's a yellow peony to celebrate what we hope will be a wonderful summer season.

Replenished the Bleeding Hearts at the plant stand this evening and brought out some more columbine and various lilies. Thanks to all who stopped by the plant stand on Durham Road in Brunswick this week. We were able to clear out a lot of plants and start getting ready for the next phase of the gardens.

This Peony just exploded with color in the gardens this week...

And the plant stand has been really busy, so we restocked it yesterday with, among other things, Shasta Daisy, Pink Bleeding Heart, Lily of the Valley, Primrose, some Hosta and more herbs.

One of the great things about gardening is the wildlife it helps attract. If you haven't already been properly introduced, meet Captain Jack. Captain Jack's mother built a nest in the greenhouse this spring in one of our Columbine plant pots and we didn't have the heart to evict her. So we lost a Columbine, but gained at least one feathered friend. You can't see it here, but Jack is actually covering up 2 more eggs, so maybe they'll have a sibling soon.

Last night we restocked the plant stand with some lilies, liatris and a handful of various delphiniums. Unfortunately, a lot of plants that were still in the greenhouse took some heat damage on Friday when the greenhouse reached a whopping 127 degrees, so what's out there now may be it for a week or so while the rest of the plants recover. In the meantime, enjoy some pics of these Lupine and Iris around the edge of front pond at KrayKray Gardens
